If you receive this error message, most likely you'll need to update your graphics driver for your dedicated graphics card. This most often occurs on Nvidia graphics cards that need to be updated.
We suggest you do not use the Windows Updater to get your graphics card driver because NVIDIA and AMD release new drivers very frequently and they may not show up in Windows for quite some time.
For this reason, it is best to go through the NVIDIA website or computer based control center, such as GeForce Experience. AMD users can use their AMD control center or go directly to AMD resources online.
To update your Nvidia graphics card directly from Nvidia's website: Nvidia Driver Update Page
On the Nvidia driver update page you'll be asked to input your graphics card information and search for available drivers. You'll want the Studio Ready option if there are multiple choices.
If you don't know what graphics card you have, you can find it in your DirectX Diagnostic Tool on Windows machines.
To find the tool, go to your Start menu or Search and type dxdiag and then run the command. In the tool that opens, your graphics cards will be found under the tabs that say Display 1, Display 2, etc. Some computers may have more than one.
Here's a quick video to show you how to determine your model of graphics card via the DirectX Diagnostic Tool:
Once you've determined your Nvidia graphics card, return to the Nvidia update page to complete your driver search.
As always, if you are unable to update your driver as shown, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
